Jim Marcus McAllister: https://www.ebay.com/itm/163999843477

Anyone who's unfamiliar with Jim's dollhouses and curious can read some history on my blog here: https://www.emilymorganti.com/blog/?p=7198

I intended to do another post about his 1:12 houses (including the McAllister) but I never got around to it. :/ I saw a McAllister in person at Shellie's Miniature Mania several years ago. She was selling it for $2,000. The one on eBay is listed at $4,000 and even that isn't too bad considering the house probably sold for $10,000 originally. (They think they're going to ship it as a first class package, though... that seems unlikely!)

EDIT: On second thought, I have no idea what this house originally sold for. I remember reading somewhere that Jim's houses sold for $10k but that might have specifically been the Russian Embassy. Just wanted to add a caveat since it's so easy for misinformation to turn into "fact" online...

Couple of Barbara Hoffman (B.H.Miniatures kits), rare oak finished leaded glass upper cabinets 1:12 scale https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dollhouse-Miniature-Vintage-Barbara-Hoffman-Leaded-Glass-Upper-Cabinets-1-12/303452847571?hash=item46a732fdd3:g:dlcAAOSwRi9eJJDp

If anyone can get them at the starting bidding price, even better!

If anyone needs any Beacon Hill parts this guy's got them.....came across 2 of his listings on eBay for "scrap wood" for dollhouse building, realized it's someone's kit that either passed away or gave up. He's got an almost full window sheet in one of the listings.

And a dry goods store!  How cute! a whole Western movie set in one dollhouse.

The only piece that to me looks out of place (circa wise) is the white long cabinet on the 3rd picture, color and handles look more of this times. I could be wrong....

Agreed  - that should have been natural/stained wood. It looks like something from an 80s bathroom. But it is a cute toy-homage to the old west with a lot to look at.

Here's one of those big limited edition Carlson's houses: https://www.ebay.com/itm/dollhouse/153816661052?hash=item23d02ffc3c:g:wSYAAOSwMTFeNF-J

(I think this house is called the Big Vic?)

I passed up a chance to buy one locally last year for $600, I just didn't have the space. Interested to see what this sells for. It looks like the person who started it has done a nice job so far.

it is gorgeous on the exterior. If the interior was done, I'd be bidding! My own interior decor skills could never do it justice.

This is the first Hofco that has impressed me. It is a lovely house and good deal if it doesn't turn into a bidding war. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hofco-Americana-dollhouse-kit-new-in-box/303432302606?hash=item46a5f9800e:g:j90AAOSwdzxeEQtD

Edit....loook who the seller is!!!!

Yeah, that would be me.

That was such an embarrassing sale for me. It's been years and years since I sold anything on eBay and I naturally thought I could use the money from the house to ship it. Silly me, you have to have a shipping number to put in before Paypal releases the funds. So then I was stuck having to explain to the buyer that I wouldn't be able to afford to ship her house till the beginning of this month. THEN Paypal released the funds anyway and I shipped the house the next week. Kudos to a patient buyer. On top of everything else, she actually sent me a thank you note and a check for part of the shipping! Here's a shout out to chelleshome on eBay. I wish I could have given her a million positive feedbacks.

People in miniatures are something else - a cut above the rest of the population.
