Y'all guys need to be looking at staircases.

This one says it's a Classic, but it's a Lawbre:

This one is a metal AMSI staircase. This is what it was selling for in the 80s:

If you like this type of handrail, the price can't be beat - I think it's Bespaq:

Ow, wow - wish I'd seen that! Oh, well!

"massive 8 food" dollhouse

I do like it...some really nice vignettes within it. I wish they'd show us the interior (did I miss it??)

I'd do it for $1500. I mean it is SO HUGE I'd have to build a room onto my house for it

Here is a Model Homes San Francisco that are becoming very rare.  I feel the price is a bit high.  I sold two of these kits about 9 months ago for $100 less each.  They are a small footprint house and the kits are great.  It is the same company that is my Cape May.

Matt- are the walls built or do you have to literally glue together many pieces to create a wall?

They are pieces or panels of wall you build up, the same construction as Dura-Craft kits. They are usually are 4 clapboards per piece. The interior sides of the panels are smooth.

That does look like a Lawbre. Amazing price!

Here's a Greenleaf Glencroft: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/375145697737855/?ref=search&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post

They're calling it a "scratch built dollhouse from the UK" and comparing it to this one: https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/more-furniture-collectibles/collectibles-curiosities/toys-dolls/large-antique-scratch-built-model-english-tudor-mansion-wooden-dolls-house/id-f_19807712/

Do non-dollhouse people not see the differences between these two houses?

There are an awful lot of people to whom all Tudor style houses look the same.

No, I don’t think they do. Also I think they are too trusting/naive and will accept the description as it is. But caveat emptor as they say.

A Great Brinca Dada house in Mississippi south of Jackson if anyone is in the area.  You might ask seller to ship if you pay cost.

Where was this when the hubs & I made our post-Covid road trip through MS in May?!

No offense intended to Brinka Dada, but Kiefers handmade furniture looks better than that. Nice house though.

Im with you - it’s a cool house but I like Keiths work better

Awww you guys😊 Thank you!

Not really fair to compare though as the Brinka’s were intended to be played with.  I really liked what they were doing with their houses.  Would be a fun house to redo.   I wish they were still in business.

I've never seen this model of a Walmer DH.  They show a Walmer sticker on it, but not sure about the story.  It is a VERY early model of any brand of dollhouse.

I am totally NOT sold on this being what the seller says … I simply don’t see the value in relation to the price
