Canadanna
Hello! I have been interested in doll house furniture, construction, landscaping, et cetera for a lot of years. Recently, especially now that I am not working outside the home, I have started focusing my sights on pursuing the dollhousing hobby. I am a new mom (had a baby this year), and I moved to Canada from the States last year to get married. I am an avid crocheter, I enjoy sewing also with what little time I have to spend by myself. smile.gif If there are other folks in Canada (especially Ontario) that would like to chat sometime, let me know. smile.gif

Canadanna
Hello and thanks for all the kind responses and welcomes. I had a baby girl who is currently down for a nap (thank god!!!!) after refusing to nap most of the day. She fell asleep while I was making her dinner.. go figure. I sorta kinda know what Santa is bringing me this year for Christmas - my first dollhouse kit to work on. Actually, there are two of them, but I have no idea when I will get around to working on both so with the limited space in my teeny house, I will do one first and then consider the other later on. I have some various accessories and furniture - I have been doing plastic canvas DH furniture and accessories because it's way less messy than working with wood in my living room sometimes. I hope to get into woodcrafting miniatures as well as working with polymer clay. I do crochet (standard gauges) but have some interest in doing minis there too. Again, thanks for the warm welcome from the forum. I am excited to be a new part of the community. Jennifer
