My 12 year old is still into dollhouses and we have a lot of fun together, but my 15 year old has outgrown the hobby. I'm new to this forum but not to miniatures. I've built several dollhouses over the years, and I built my first Greenleaf house just a few months ago. It was the Coventry Cottage which I sold on ebay. All of my other dollhouses are MDF so I was a little apprehensive about it at first, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to put together. I was so impressed with my results that I bought my sister an Orchid that we're going to build together. I'm finding some great ideas by looking at all the beautiful dollhouses in the gallery here. You might also want to check out the building team blogs for the Coventry Cottage we also built last year. It's amazing how many different styles you can get with one house. Now I'm really inspired to get started on my sister's Orchid. I'll post pictures of my progress once I get started on it.
