Is there a tutorial of how to make this roofs that Tracy makes?

Carmen, read Tracy's section of the Team McKinley building blog, I believe she describes how she bashed that third floor,

Kansas City:

Front-opening, British-looking dollhouse

I have this house, and converted it, with tiles, and such, and I love it, but be aware, it's laminated inside, and the windows are plastic.  It's a child's play house.  I sanded off a lot of plastic lamination, repainted the windows.  I also built in walls inside.

also only paid $40.00, and its perfect for me, keeps the cats out, wires run behind it.

For $75 with rolling base...and if YOU like it, then it is a great deal.It has 3 stories and a tower room for you to decorate.

It is, however, RGT mdf and will be very heavy. But I think it is a great Victorian - you could do all sorts of things with it!

Here is a Hofco Victorian.  I know I have seen this model but can't remember the name.   I even remember the ads for the store it was purchased!  I could not find it in my copy of The Miniature Catalog.  But is it me, and even with free shipping, isn't the price a bit steep?

Oh, Matt, you just ID'd another house I was wondering about. This one has been on Craig's List for a while and I kept wondering where I'd seen it before, but I was too lazy to look it up (and yes, I think the house you're looking at is overpriced by about $3850):

And as long as I'm posting some Craig's List links:

I think this is The Adorable from Miniature World. The owner says it's signed on the bottom with James R. Hansen and a number

this one looks nice - I think it opens on the side, too:

This the Foxhall - I think someone should pick this up:

And probably a homemade one:

Definitely not a Real Good Toys and definitely not a Foxhall Manor.  If it is a real Lawbre French Country (pic #5 is the best clue we get) is anyone's guess.

Please, please anyone ever wanting to sell a dollhouse online please provide a full pic of the front, back and/or side, depending on style and throw in the dimensions, would be much appreciated.  IMHO.

Interesting.  Could be the basic version of French Country, here's a photo from their catalog in 2004 for Petite FC but you don't see the arch doors on the sides of the house like Lawbre.

Well after 4 days I am still waiting on an answer to my inquiry about the above house with base. And then I find this one, which I am in love with, (it is the second I have found recently first one was 300 ).

So please tell me what you all think of this one. Thanks in advance. It will require 4 hour round trip but I am in love! Question is, should I stay in love and buy it?

He said the electric was intermittent. ??  I do not have electric in any house I have so a bit excited but do not know what it would entail to fix it.

p.s. the vacuum in one picture is what truly sold me...I'm serious!

Thats an RGT newport, bigger than the other house you are looking at.  Great house, solid.

No doors or baseboard so if you need to strip paper to fix electric it is doable.

Great deal for the price. Go for it!

The 2004 Lawbre price list I have has the Petite French Country House unfinished shell listed for $1,237.00, windows at $330.00 and optional trim at $264.00 which adds up to $1,800.00 which the seller says was original cost.   Does not explain why then we do not see the arched window on each side or why the seller is calling it an RGT Foxhall Manor.  When it is so easy to research anything these days how can someone be so far off.  With a bad description and lousy pics I can only wish them luck.
