I thought the dollhouse was nice. I know it's expensive. Just thought it was cool and different. Sorry.

The house is cool ... the price is ludicrous. Wish they had more detailed photos of the house.

Yes, that's an Apple Blossom with an addition. For $50? Why am I living on the wrong side of the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other house with the slideout looks like a Houseworks Georgian shell kit that someone modified. I'm beginning to think I really like that kit. Hmmm....Oh, God, no, I'm NOT getting another dollhouse!!!!! Y'all remind me I said that now!

I loved looking at the pics. I was a little surprised it is "real vinyl siding" - but that is just me. It is a beautiful piece. I love looking at finds like this - thank you!

Oops, I did mean $3.2k.  I shouldn't respond to posts before I've had my coffee!

You and me, Holly ... without our morning caffeine, we can be trouble! :D

Here's a pretty San Franciscan: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/tag/5892364065.html

And a Bellingham Farmhouse (hard to tell the condition from the pix): http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/atq/5895312976.html

That is a pretty SF557; bein MDF I betcha it weighs a bunch.  I also betcha that Bellingham didn't cost the "thousands to build",  judging from the el cheapo made in China livingroom furniture that's in it.

That Bellingham seller is really pushing it with the "one of a kind, thousands of dollars to build".  Knowing it is a kit and giving them benefit of the doubt, I have such high expectations when they say stuff like that...and then I see the stairs jutting out from the wall and furniture crowded into it...sigh. I wonder if the builder is the seller? Seller doesn't seem to know they have a kit.

Or the seller does know exactly what it is.  Caveat emptor.

I think I've seen that FLW house on eBay in the past.

Mott's has a FLW type of house that Lawbre built on their website. http://www.mottsminis.com/dollhouse_lawbre_prarie.htm

Anybody notice how the third floor over the bay windows is off center in that Lawbre house, though? I think that would bug me.
