Hi, I am very new to miniatures!! On a whim, I bought the Orchid kit from Hobby Lobby, and assembled it over the course of about 2 weeks. It was my very first dollhouse assembly, and I DEFINITELY learned a lot. We had a love-hate thing, but I am now very proud. I also installed lights. I will be taking a lot of pics of the finished project, and then will be gifting it to my mother for her B-day!!

So, of course I am making another one for myself, using all my newfound experience to make a custom Orchid, I just need a theme....

I will post pics as soon as I dig out the camera in the "My First Dollhouse" Area

Hi, Leah, I'm holly and I'm a mini addict! I liked my Orchid experience a whole lot better once she informed me she wanted to be a general store and who all she wanted to have living in her. I also have another one waiting in the box for me. It's in line, unfortunately. As you read through the backlog of posts you may wish to find closet space, somewhere you can store your kits flat until you're ready to build them.
