Roxxie2
Ok you guys......I am sending some warm temps and sun to you poor people in the snow and cold! That's what we SHOULD be having here in northern New Mexico but instead its in the 60's, sunny ( and windy of course)
havanaholly
The sun is finally out again here! And I don't care if it means we're getting another darned polar vortex at this point! I have been starved for sunlight!
Roxxie2
Endless sunlight here but wind and dust flying not great.....
me-barbie
Please Holly, take the polar vortex....I am soo tired of -30 temps with -40 windchills...
havanaholly
No, no, Barbara, I wouldn't think of it! Actually I think the darned things should stay north of the Arctic Circle, where they belong, and leave the rest of us alone!
me-barbie
But I don't want it anymore. I have had it since early December, and it is practically March.....
heidiiiii
More of the white stuff for us this weekend. Blech!
Roxxie2
A cloud came over, dropped a couple drops of rain ( what's that???) and went off over the mountains. That's about it for the weather in New Mexico...
rackey
I can't believe that Rita's Italian Ice is reopening for the season in my home town next week and it is so colo outside. With the wind chill factor, it feels like it is below zero.
Stacey6163
I am sitting here by the pellet stove with a t shirt, flannel pants, long nightgown over those, a hoodie, and afghans and am still cold. It is -8 degrees and with the wind chill it's 20 below. This polar vortex crap has got to go!!!
Selkie
Whew - it's finally morning and I'm relieved to say that we didn't blow away during the night. I thought our house was going to be blown off it's foundations and off to the next universe before morning with how bad the wind blew all night. The whole house was shaking and it was impossible to get warm.
havanaholly
Our heat is on and my poor little car is covered with frost!

My knees and hips are jelly, but it still felt GOOD!
