A few words about me - the username comes from a combination of my love of miniatures AND my miniature dachshunds. I have been bldg dollhouses for about 15 years ( actually longer than that if you count the one i built when i was 11 - completely out of cardboard but using plans from a dollhouse book at the library and it didn't look bad at all!! I was too young for a saw and real wood LOL). My most recently finished house is The Arthur that I kitbashed into a Gingerbread house/Santa's workshop (pics are in my photoalbum in my siggy). I am working on my current house now, A Vermont Jr, from Real Good Toys. My first three houses I no longer own and sadly no digital cam back then so no pics! I do love this hobby and nothing is more relaxing to me than creating something miniature in wood. I look forward to being around and hope to get to know a lot of you!
