Ha! I mean, it was an idea I could bash out of ANYTHING. Except the kit they announced. No way. Oh well. It told me it wanted to be a 1/2" scale barn, which worked perfect. When I saw it I had one idea and one idea only, I waited for a month before starting because I was sure more inspiration would come if I stared long enough but no, nothing so I ended up running with my one and only idea and I am so glad I did. That way we will want it to be later rather than sooner so the pot will get bigger. Then the winner gets to have extra bucks for building/decorating/furnishing their Spring Fling 2013. Of course, I don't believe in gambling so I'm not quite sure how to do that without it looking like gambling. Well and then there is how to be sure we don't end up having the IRS "join" in. Just thinking it would change our outlook from wanting it right away if we make ourselves a carrot to strive for. sigh .... Still looking for that kick in the seat of the pants to ready my studio ... any takers ?? ... I don't dare ask my family cuz they'll bruise me with kicks cuz they think it's such a pigsty. As for timing, we haven't even had a sneak peak yet. That means two weeks. At least. And a thought that keeps going through my head.......my birthday. May 2nd. Same as Dean. Dean's birthday! That's when they'll announce it. (Don't they do birthday coupons and such at HBS?) This year they're keeping quiet. No one's telling us anything. I was taught 'no news is good news'. I know it's not only forum members, and if you're a member but not on the Greenleaf list, not sure if you'll get one (or possible, may be that you're signed up for newsletter when you register...)
