SusannaT
-_- OK, so the tiger is dead. And technically it hasn't even seen a real tiger :icecream: I made it. But we'll pretend Mary's father shot it, when he was an officer in the British army stationed in India, ok?

Deb
I'm really starting to feel like I know Mary. You've given her so much character, she seems like an old friend now. I'm not surprised to hear her father was stationed in India. Was he a Colonel or a Major in her Majesty's service? Love the tiger Susanna! You did an excellent job on it. SusannaT
How did you make it? It is made with three strands of of DMC floss and tent stitch. I printed out a picture of a tiger skin and just eyeballed it. For the head, I did the stitching on a separate piece, added a little cottonwool under it, to get dimension. The fur bit was made with gently rubbing coarse sandpaper on the stitches. Thanks so much for the sweet comments!
