You don't see a lot of warm smiles on little porcelain dolls. Nice.

havanaholly
I think HBS used the houseboat kit for one of their Creatin' Contests, and the bus for another.

Elsbeth
I like this for $150: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Solid-Wood-Dollhouse-with-Dolls-Fully-Furnished-Working-Windows-Doors-EUC/202976779853? LeeB
I won an auction on ebay for a vintage Glencroft still in an unopened box. Better still, I got it for about half the present price, including shipping. While researching the Craftsman and Arts & Crafts styles for my current project, I was impressed by how much they were influenced by the Tudor and medieval styles and started getting the itch to do a house in an historically accurate style of the Elizabethan period. Having taught English literature and theatre, I think it would be fun to decorate with details inspired by and approximating as closely as possible the house where Shakespeare was born. So that is what I have waiting in the wings. I am already researching and planning it. . . .

Mid-life madness
Somebody please buy this! I think The House That Jack Built, dollhouses are made of some of the best quality wood. I have two , both bought locally (not this model). This has been relisted already. The shipping must not be correct, but check out the low starting bid. They don't come up on eBay at such a great price. I am saving these houses for my someday grandchildren...they make beautiful long-lasting heirlooms IMO https://www.ebay.com/itm/Melissa-Doug-The-house-that-jack-built-Walton/363003217968#shpCntId Edited May 25, 2020 by Mid-life madness

havanaholly
Back before Warner Group bought Dolls' House and Miniature Scene from the Fanceys the magazine used to run issues with his house plans in them from time to time. I stopped subscribing when Warner stopped running the house plans.
