MiniPassions
Hello! I've been making miniatures for several years, and have found myself wanting to try some smaller scales. I've heard a bit about this group and thought I could find some info about working in smaller scales here. Looking foward to reading all the posts! MiniPassions
Thanks for the welcome ! Minis On The Edge: I would like to make a dollhouse in 144 scale. Should I start with a kit? Are there patterns available? (Free patterns would be nice :insane: ) Gayle: It's even cold in Florida! I'm wearing flannels for the first time in a long time. Must say I'd prefer the warmer weather ;)

Uh, Gayle, dear, I hate to burst your bubble, but it has been going into the low 20s overnight here, and tonight the forecast in for the teens! Ellen, 1:144 scale is 1/12th the size of 1:12 scale. Micro-scale! OK, 'nuff of that... Welcome to the forum, Pat, there are a few of us Floridians here. Where are you? I'm NW of Tallahassee, halfway between there & Bainbridge, GA. nuttiwebgal
Welcome to the forum! I and a few others have built a few 1/144th scale houses...mostly from kits if you are just wanting to try it out...I would go to HBS and order the 19$ house they have there that was my first and it will give you a taste of what that scale is like. nutti :groucho:
