nuttiwebgal
Its 2 am and I have already recieved some lovely roses from my sweet indulgent Hubby. today is our 20th wedding Anniversery everytime I say it and write it I cant believe it. where did the time go? it seems like just a short time. but its been a lifetime. and we still like eachother(most days) love each other (yup) and have been known to hold hands when watching a movie at home. I just wanted to share! he has gone to bed but Im to excited to sleep. with the son home knowing he will be shipped out in March and new Granddaughter in family I have coerced them into a family portrait. our last one was taken when Catriona was 6 she is 14 now. Im going to get my hair done(been awhile) and get the boys matching shirts like their dads. coz they liked his. and than we are driving an hour to go eat at a restaurant called Lamberts where they throw rolls at you I dunno we never been there but all who talk of it LOVE it! but Im not sure about them flying rolls? :o Husband doesnt realise the trip is the gift. all of them in one van an hour up and back....itll be great for me! ;) Well I wont be around much today so yall have a great day! Deb
Congratulations Nutti! Twenty years and still in love is truly something to celebrate. Gather the warmth of your family around you and have the most wonderful of days! Oh, and if they're flingin' rolls at you in that restaurant, you might want to wear a hat (since you just had your hair done). When you get the portraits back, be sure to scan one in to show us. The best eye candy is seeing a family that loves each other. Deb

havanaholly
I will do an advertisement for Lambert's Cafe because their "throwed rolls" are DELICIOUS and the rest of the food is to die for, be prepared to wait in line forever, the food is worth it! Try everything, it's all good. There are only three in the world and two of them are in MO! We hope to get to the one you're going to next long trip BTW, Lambert's would make a heckuva great mini scene, especially with the rolls flying about; we are both good catchers, we found out And have a very happy anniversary!!! :o

nuttiwebgal
we have had the best day! the pictures are not bad! ya get 6 poses so we did all of us x2 one with santa hats...but Pixie..she had antlers! than Jasons Family Dean and I dean and boys dean and Catriona and my 3 kids together. they all dressed in black and pixie and I wore red. we have the black and white computer proof. will get photos Jan 12 than we took seperate cars to dinner and it was WOW very organised and they had alot of fun eatin them rolls they sure was yummy and with sougram molasses. fried potatoes best I have ever ate. I had chicken fried steak and brought enough for 2 home with me. Im tellin you there was alot of food. and the fried okra was absolute! seperate cars home and now Hubby sleepin in chair... oh maybe you should hear how I almost made him have a tear, I bought him a wedding band. we pawned our matching set yrs ago for the 12 day hospital stay we did for Jasons heart surgery...it was 5 hours from where we lived we were no way able to get them out of pawn than. so we lost them. over the yrs he has bought me other rings to wear and I love them. but he has alwaysed worked where he really couldnt wear a ring or risk serious injury. so getting him one was never a priority. imagine his suprise when I put the box on the table. I didnt make no speech so we were the only ones who knew what was goin on... they was all eatin. I did good! he was happily suprised and I had warm fuzzies! ;) :o I thank you all for your well wishes! nutti
Anna
What a wonderful day you seemed to have had Nutti, congratulations! 20 years... we are halfway there and I soo understand your warm fuzzy feelings over surprising him with a ring like that. One has to appreciate those guilded moments so to speak. Hugs
havanaholly
You named all my yummy faves, although their macaroni & the stewed apples are tasty, too. It amazes me how anything so light and fluffy as those rolls can be throwed so accurately Glad you had a happy anniversary.
