Shakyshaky
Since Nutti is slacking off ( jk )I figured I would go head and start it. So what I want to know is how many houses do you have and which ones? I don't mean what you have built, but total in your place of residence. Now I know for some of us this my be a little scary to actually see it all written out but think of the envy! Even if you only have a house or two go ahead and list it that way if someone else wants to build it they know where to look. Since I am asking this of you I will go ahead and start.... 1. The Sunshine cottage - I don't know the name of the house of who built it. ( it is the white house soon to have yellow window boxes, hanging baskets and planter pots all with yellow flowers, hence the name) 2. The Glencroft also know as Mr and Mrs Santa's place 3. The Country Victorian ( the purple house ) It does not have a name yet. 4. La Petite a modified grand room box 5. The Tiffany it is upposed to be an elf bakery but only time will tell. In the box= 6. The Sweet heart was bought to make and sell but after making one for my MIL I think I may keep it. ( like I could ever sell one  ) 7. 2 Hickory Ridge Cabins the boys will probably get one and I will have to figure out what to do with the other one ( I am supposed to sell it but we shall see. I don't have a log cabin for me! :o ) 8. The Tennyson to be a 30's house 9. The Haunted House to be a astone cottage I think Then there is the Laurel and Primrose which are my daughters so I don't know if they count. ;) You don't have to be this detailed if you don't want. Like I told Nutti, now I can tell dh " I know people who have more houses than me and their husbands lived through it." ;) Can you believe I forgot the tin house I just won ( but technically don't have yet) an HO scale house ( I'll have to get a pic up) and I think another HO house in the second lot I won. Josi
Remember now, I'm just getting started on this hobby thing so I don't have near the inventory. Anyway, 1 Victorian Cottage Jr. was the first. 2 The Storybook Cottage. I think this was a Duracraft kit, but was mfg in 1984. I sold this to my sister for a charity auction. 3 The Laurel. I just sold this through ebay, so it is leaving me soon. 4 The Sierra Log cabin. Still in the kit, waiting for me, calling my name. 5 The Travel Trailer, also shouting for my attention. 6 The Whitney. An old dollhouse kit given to me by an even older friend. LPCullen
LOL Peggy! I'm not that long into this either. I've only been building for 3 years, or it will be 3 years on Christmas day ... There are others that we have built, but Melanie wanted only the ones that we have ... I probably won't keep all that I have, except for the 1/4 scale and the 1/144th scale stuff, all of that will be kept. The Winters Mansion is a 1/4 scale house that I bought and couldn't figure out how to build, and Ruby was kind enough to build it for me since I couldn't even figure out what the parts were, and the 1/144th scale house that I got which is made by Ruby was a trade for something else that I had. Those I am keeping too.
Shakyshaky
So Linda are you taking applicatons for house donations?
LPCullen
LOL Melanie! Umm, no. Jimmy's says we're saving them to build in our retirement years. Or for our grandchildren. Or something. If you read the titles of the houses, you probably noted that most are old ones no longer made, which has seemed to become our passion. Tracy might be taking names for donations, 'cuz I know she's got me beat on horded houses.

havanaholly
The Haunted House went to its new home a week ago Monday. Keep in mind I live in a 900 sq ft house, so I have no room to keep built ones. If the company name isn't in parentheses it's a Greenleaf or Corona kit  Built: The Cambridge (Dura-Craft) The Glencroft "Sprig of Holly" pub In the box: 1:24 scale: The Fairfield (2, I want to bash them together) The Fantasy Villa (Wood Craft) 1:48 scale: The Greenleaf Town 1:12 scale: The Newberg (Dura-Craft) The Buttercup The Sugarplum The Willowcrest The travel trailer The McKinley (next on the list) The Cheltenham You did just want houses, not the porch kit, the various HOM & Chrysnbon furniture & accessory kits... Anna
It feels soooo good to see others lists!!! Mine is fairly short compared with some I think: 1 Chantilly (Greenleaf) 2 General stor turned into my husband's bicycle shop (Real good toys) 3. Sugarplum cottage, an ongoing project at my MIL's house so that I have something to do while there and not needing to pack up and down to have it with me (Greenleaf) 4. 1 Primrose (Greenleaf) turned into a ahunted school 5. 1 Primrose in the makings of a modern office building, a comission from my BIL 6. 1 Primrose still in its box  7. A witchy Tower scratch built from own plans 8. An Aster Cottage that will soon be finished for Santa and his family to move in 9. The haunted house that is on its way thanks to the Halloween themed competition 10 An IKEA greenhouse I am slowly building up the inventory for the flower shop, all the furnishing is done, now it only needs filling 11 An artist studio I built from scratch from scrap piexes of wood and old picture frames Hmmm, I think that that is my list, and then there are those roomboxes and other settings but those are finished and have their places on the walls allready. Then there is the "wishlist" as well... Perhaps something else to share? Hugs
Nameless1
Total in place of residence... yikes! Bear in mind that our apartment is maybe 800 square feet, max. Let's do this in order of scale. 1:48 1. The loft apartment with shops, set in a desk organizer. Apartment is decorated; shops aren't done. 2. The hotel-conversion condos, a project that was supposed to be built from Michael's hutches. Started but not decorated. 3. The modern suburban house built by my father. It exists but has no decor. 1:24 4. A different modern suburban house built by my father. Completely furnished, missing a couple of planned accessories. 5. RGT lighthouse keeper's cottage. Not only complete, but already torn apart and redone once. Missing one or two planned accessories for the attic. 6. RGT lighthouse. Complete. 7. Houseworks Colonial bought to rehab. Furnished with extra furniture but not rehabbed one bit yet. 8. RGT Vermont Farmhouse Jr. Mostly assembled and with interior finishes, but needs its trim completed. 9. RGT Vermont Farmhouse Jr. still in box (accidentally bought two -- don't know if I'll build this one). 10. Queen Anne from 1980s (unbuilt) 11. Victorian farmhouse from 1980s (unbuilt) 12. Rye townhouse (unbuilt) 13. Target shadowbox for husband's historic figures (primed and hung on wall, no one has any ideas on how to decorate) 1:18 14. Vacation home from 1970s (dry fit, haven't decided what to do with it yet) 1:12 15. RGT Victorian Farmhouse Jr. with addition. This was supposed to be my only 1:12 house. Needs its exterior trim and shingles; otherwise mostly complete. 16. American Craft Products San Francisco rowhouse, which was supposed to be my other only 1:12 house. Still in box due to... 17. Batrie cottage bought for rehab and stalled in mid-rehab because of... 18. Arthur. Complete though I intend to add some accessories. 19. Westville. Assembled and largely furnished but trim is not done. 20. Glencroft. In box. 21. McKinley. In box. 22. Travel trailer. In box. and temporarily until I ship it tomorrow... 23. Haunted House DONE! but it's a gift so it shouldn't count. Things kind of got out of hand, didn't they?

LPCullen
<stunned silence> You're my new hero. I can understand why you need two residences! Do people look at you funny when you 'splain you have two houses so you have enough room for your houses? Deb <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL! I do tell them that, kinda. Most people who know me are used to it now. We have two residences because when we met we both owned houses. After we were married we attempted to sell mine (secondary residence) but it's in the country and unless you're actually on the lake up there, things just don't sell. We rented it for a bit, but when the last tenant moved out and we dropped in excess of $4000 to correct it, I decided never again. Since I hate the city (primary residence) we now compromise and spend weekends in the country. The houses are a couple counties apart, not too far. Deb: Nice-and impressive 3 in 3 WOW! If you finish the Lily in only 3 months you will deserve a reward. It's taken me 10 months to get to where I am on mine and it still needs a few things done to it. Shoot I had to walk away from it for a month at a time to keep from taking a hammer to the whole thing. LOL Peggi
