sunshines_minis
I am trashing this yard scene and I was going redneck on it. I got the tradional Missouri planters(tires) and the tore up couch(no dog yet),and pink flamingos But it is still to clean I need more. More trash ideas. We all know one, you know that house with the things you wish they would get rid of. Or as I call it"You might be a redneck....) I need some more things and if you got any ideas or pics of out of date plantholders and/or that are tacky I'd love to see them too.

NannaMc
A heap of old, empty oil cans, a broken screen door leaning against the side of the house, a broken down baby carriage Sounds like fun, Shirley
justmesue
Don't forget the garbage spilling out of ripped up bags. These can be easily be cut out of a real one, and seamed together with a lighter. Then fill them with ripped up peices of paper, and make tiny slits with an exacto knife, once you have tied them! Youcan also fill little clear zip bags with with crushed leaves. The possibilities are endless sounds like fun!
MommymakesStuff
Old mattresses and bed frames leaning up against the side of the house, cars with no engines, hoods open ans missing doors. I saw this beat up house on the outskirts of a state prison with all these beat up cars and peacocks roaming around as pets...don't ask I don't know...old fridges with no doors, beat up oil paintings w/ half broken frames, dolls with no heads, patio chair frames with cushions missing, bkies with missing parts, beat up trucks on monster wheels, dixie or marine core flags hanging off the porch. Giant lawn deer missing antlers...

Annette
Around here I always see alot of rusty old (broken) farm equipment and lots of car parts, no cars just the parts. Unless it's my house then I have the multi colored car, a little red escort with a red primer hatch and quarter panel and a purple hood in the driveway. Ms. Mini
when I lived in a more "redneckish" side of town my next door neigbhor always tailgated in the apartment complex parking lot. he'd get in the back of his beat up pick up truck. set up a lawn chair, but a beer in the holder.. have the baseball game going on the radio and bbq on a small coal grill. every week all by himself. it was quite funny to see. not to mention he wasnt the "best" dressed my neigbhor on the otherside of me had a big costco size empty greenbean can (with the wrapper still on the can) out side her door and it was her ash tray! lol o man i could really keep going. LOL how about putting a fridge on the front lawn? ive seen plenty of those.
havanaholly
rusting car(s) or truck(s) up on blocks with various parts missing or strewn about the auto bench seats on the sagging front porch, ripped with stuffing and springs sticking our and old blankets or bright new crocheted afghans thrown over them split-cane seat rockers with broken slats and ratty caning boken toys don't forget to "wash" the unpainted wood on your house with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol & India ink mixture to "age" it to that sivery patina; the rest can be either chipped, peeling paint or peeling tarpaper (nicely simulated with sheets of sandpaper). Corrugated cardboard simulates roofing tin righ nicely. uncut grass & blooming weeds at least knee-high a clothesline or two with men's longjohns & other underwear, overalls and a couple of incredibly huge pairs of ladies' drawers old rusting cookware, broken crockery, empty fruitjars at least one broken iron beadstead used as a "flower bed", great with clumps of peonies and hydrangeas growing in it a couple of truck tire swings hanging from the trees, one with a decrepit deerstand out back Parts of a still peeping out from the overgrown bushes behind the "necessary" out back. coffee cans set about the porch with brown stains and clumps of old tobacco where the cans were "missed" a worn crate on end or other "table" on the porch (note: I spent a spell in N GA & Piedmont SC as a social worker)
