(II) i can enter a sorted list by manufacturer, as jokelly suggested, and (III) add a link for photos, as calamari suggested. calamari threatened and promised that if that were done, she'd the list in dh universe. does the offer stand? if so, i can sort, and also can backtrack fairly easily and add links for most of the current houses. and send it all in a monstrous email. links and photos for the vintage houses are harder. a note saying "see gallery" would do for some of them, but as for the remainder ..... perhaps forum members who have links and/or photos of the older houses could submit those to somebody? what do you at GL think, tracy? calamari? linda? deb? wendy? hh? (i'm not sure who i'm asking, obviously.) would it be worthwhile for GL to have that information in that form, or do those at the Mother House Central Command have most of it already? cj ps: edited b/c somehow emoticons crept in instead of alphabet letters in parentheses. whoo knew? Once the list is posted in the forum in the linked form, it's very easy to copy it, links and all, over to DU. That list is potentially a huge, huge resource for helping people identify their houses, as well as for setting priorities on what house to build next. (I'm trying to hand off as much DU as possible to other people, but I still have ability to add material, and what I'd be doing is easy-peasy, since you're doing all the work!)
