eveningstargazer
It doesn't look bad at all. Once you get it put together it will be just fine. It actually looks good to me.

KathieB
It has its own personality ... maybe it's thinking of all the little children who are going to throw spitwads at its walls!

havanaholly
Freya, Your little schoolhouse has great potential! I think cardstock and paperclips would be the way to go for student desks.

heidiiiii
Ditto on what everyone else said! You are gonna need spitwads and lil bitty pencils hanging from the ceiling..(did anyone else do that? or was it just me?)
Anna
Ditto on what everyone else said! You are gonna need spitwads and lil bitty pencils hanging from the ceiling..(did anyone else do that? or was it just me?) I have seen a gorgeous roombox witht he pencils hanging from the ceiling, it was a scene depicting the office where Mulder in the TV serie X-files resided.... No spitwads what I know of though LOL, but lots and lots of pencils he has flung up there while "thinking".... Hugs

havanaholly
I remember that wonderful (NOT) ceiling tile the pencils used to stick in!lol We even had teachers try to confiscate the rubberbands, but back then we used at least two rubber bands on each foot to hold our bobby socks' cuffs (and y'all thought they came that way!). grynche
Thanks for the support and encouragement. Learning as I go. School and I are getting along better today. The walls are up; roof is on; the little doohickey cupola thingey for the roof is together although I'm not feeling very optimistic about putting *its* roof on. And I need to find a bell. Despite my best efforts, some of the shingles are crooked. I still need to make corner boards to cover the tabs and fasten the front doors. Hope to have her finished by the end of the week. How do I get the cupola to stick to the roof? I'm thinking of making a small roll of "caulk" out of paper clay and using that. My efforts at using aluminum foil for flashing were a dismal failure. havanaholly
I need to find a bell.Hobby Lobby carries small bells with clappers that might fit in your cupola. How do I get the cupola to stick to the roof?Is there an opening on the roof for the cupola to fit over (for the schoolbell rope to feed down through)? If not you could run a glue bead around the bottom edge of the cupola and tape it to the roof until it's dry (or put siding or whatever exterior treatment you're using) over tape & all.
