rbytsdy
I've been working on the Spring Fling but took a bit of a break to work on this little guy, just because I felt like it! I took my inspiration from Karen Fitzhenry's absolutely wonderful little works of art: http://www.karenfitzhenry.com/ I think she handcarves her horses; I am in absolute awe. My little guy isn't anywhere near that level of talent but I did use her photos to help me with the body shapes. rbytsdy
Thanks, Holly! Just a few bits of matboard, balsa and basswood, cardstock, with some gesso and paint...

rbytsdy
Thanks Brae! I had gotten the matboard with the intent to try some of Kris' kitchen furniture tuts (http://1inchminisbykris.blogspot.com/) which I still intend to do because the Magnolia needs them, but then I thought that it might do well for this... (This is why I have trouble finishing things, because I end up on so many other rabbit-trails along the way... )
