Thank you so much for the kind words, they mean a lot to this old guy.Well now that the building is almost done I will now have to storyboard the piece.I will be taking pics and adding text in a storyboard sequence.I plan to put it up here for you guys to follow along if you would like to.This is the fun part and I will start soon.Other dioramas ? I have two already half finished,A storyboard diorama in 1/24 scale based upon the movie "Once Upon a Time in the West" and a sculptural piece with a falcon and an airplane in it.(Man plans,God laughs)

Oh, good! I'm already "into" the story, the dog and the folks peeping out of their windows makes me want to know more.

In that scale with everything else going on there's no such thing as too cutesy! Kids will have a blast finding all the little details, and that one oughta thrill their little socks off!

aww kitties will win many hearts.

story reminds me of my own childhood. The old rusty car does. We had an old Ford my dad called a 'hoopey'. He called the storage compartment the Whiskey Box. hahahha

I kept making comments about a blimp landing on our property in Texas and no one paid attention. Finally, when I was 13 my dad called a brother in and asked him if this happened. He said not that he knew of but a small plane had. There were so many blimps flying in early 40's I am still not convinced.

Uh, John, dioramas ARE miniatures and even if it's not specifically dollhouses it's a scale we use and techniques and items we may want in or around our houses. IMO it's all good, if you want to quote me in your appeal. Remember the PM system is still not back up.
