Hello everyone

I am new to the forum but not to miniatures or Greenleaf. I have been building dollhouses from anything that would sit still since I was small, in the 60's and now build some pretty fun houses with a scroll saw.

My favorite is half scale but depending on my mood I love anything small from human playhouse size down to miniscule. Often, the smaller the better.

Although I am really good at certain types of miniature crafting like making miniature bears, knitting in miniature and buildling dolls houses, I am working hard to learn such new arts as one of a kind polymer art doll making. My houses are screaming for residents to come to life and only I can see them so I must create them myself :

"A dollhouse is a place one should go when their imagination needs to run wild".

I look forward to getting to know everyone :) Mindi Morgan Smith

Hi Mindi,

Welcome to the group. Keep posting so you can post a gallery - I can't wait until you can post your gallery!

I am new to the forum and pretty much new to building minis. However, like you, I used to build things out of anything that would sit still when I was a kid. I did post a picture in my gallery of the mouse house I build my sister when I was 10.

Looking forward to seeing your pics and your posts.

Welcome Mindi! I as it seems so many others as well, can not wait to see your visions come to life in your mini people. As already stated if you make several more posts you aught to be able to open a gallery to show what you've already made. Good luck to you on learning the polymer clay tricks, not a medium I've tried yet -- but thinking it's an eventuality that is likely to happen soon from all I've heard/seen you can do with it.
