Monica_the_haunted
What a pretty house! I've never seen it before. I'm so excited for you to get started on it. It has so many lovely details!
kathi17
I like the Exmouth much better! I built the Apple Blossom, and I really like it, but it's not my favorite house. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
ilovecats
That house is really pretty! I almost purchased it on a basement, but shipping was almost 300 from the U.K. so i decided against it. Can't wait to see how you decorate yours!!!
Cricket
What a pretty dollhouse! I've never seen it before, and I LOVE the..varanda? (Is that the right term? I probly spelled it wrong ) )
dragonlady1380
yes it is a veranda or balcony. i plan to do the window frames and doors and the balconies in mahogany and the walls i was thinking of cream wood panneling siding. i have a nice brick walk in fire place for the kitchen and i want to do the floor in there stone slabed. oh im so excited, i dont have the energy or the ability do re-decorate my own home so im really looking forward to doing this dollhouse. i already have a doll on the way to live in it. dragonlady1380
does anyone know where i can get spindles and banister rails for stairs preferably in the uk as i have had problems with sellers posting from usa.
CJEP
What a beautiful house!! In the UK, I would suggest Dollshouse Emporium for supplies. It is the only one I know there though, so there maybe a better place. I would check HBS here in the US (they do ship internationally, but I can't say anything about it). I can't wait to see what you do with the house!!
dragonlady1380
hi all, i was expecting my dollhouse tomorrow but imagine my suprise when it arrived today it took me an hour and a half to put it together, it needed no glue it was all ready just to screw it together. i did cut my finger on the edge of the wood but other than that i had no problems at all. i havnt put the stairs in as it will be easier to decorate. i have taken pics and when i figure out how to up load them (other wise called waiting for hubby to do it) i will get them on here for u all to see. the doll came today too so she has a house to live in but no stairs and furniture yet.
