Suki
Ever have one of those days, or in my case a late night, where you just think you can do anything? Well, I should have gone to bed because I decided to paint the main floor ceiling of my westville with some old and I mean really old oil paint that my grandad use to use to paint landscapes. What a mess! Now I have never done a dolls house before and am just a newbie in the last 2 months (I haven't even posted a topic until now) so I went to the Little Dollhouse Store and picked up some of those plastic sheets that look like tin tile. I painted them with a gunmetal grey paint and it was way too shiny, so out came the old crackle I used to use to fix anything I painted and hated and spread that on and when it was dry I used some ivory paint on top. What an awesome effect! I just had to post this as I am so proud of the outcome! Hope you enjoy it too, pic is attached.

I also enjoy visiting the Little Dollhouse Store but I don't get there as often as I would like. It's about 60K away from me.
