CathyAllen
What is the best way to remove paint from the plastic sheeting in the windows? I am such a sloppy painter! I only use acrylic paint. I want the windows to be nice and clear!
grazhina
Spray cleaner like 409, Mr. Clean spray or Fantastick, for example will soften acrylic paint so it can be peeled, scraped or washed off. I've never used it on that kind of plastic sheet, but I've taken acrylic paint off that way on other solid and plastic surfaces.
LeeB
Have you tried just scaping it with a fingernail? Sometimes with acrylic paint on a smooth surface, it will peel right off. Maybe next time think about masking the clear part of the window or painting the frame before inserting the "glass?"
KathieB
Gentle scraping with a blunted Popsicle or other wooden stick will probably take it off. I'd try that before attempting removal with a liquid cleaner, which may smear it and/or dull the surface.
WyckedWood
I know what NOT to use. Fingernail polish remover. I wouldnt use anything more serious than water. Hopefully scraping will help.
amyole
I try to remove as soon as possible with a cotton-tipped swab and water.
