Anna
One thing I remembered earlier was the paper wadding balls, I used tem when making mini teapots to get the hollow part/body of the teapot. The thing is that the ball has one side with the tiniest hole in it, if one is careful and push a self locking tweezer in there and twist the tweezer gently but firmly one can "un-ravel" the innards of the paper ball and pull it out. So if coated with cling film it just might work as a base for the twine light has well? Hugs
MiniCrazy
Oh my gosh Holly, of course we used to do the same thing with balloons. I had forgotten that little piece of my childhood. I think that is the ticket here.
mellifera
How about using one of the long skinny balloons, the ones made for balloon animals, and twisting off small sections?
havanaholly
How about using one of the long skinny balloons, the ones made for balloon animals, and twisting off small sections? That would work, or using any large latex balloon that is starting to go a bit soft.
