Brandy
I was browsing on eBay and came across a Greenleaf 56 piece furniture kit and wanted to know if it is discontinued? The furniture in the kit is really nice and didn’t see it on the Greenleaf web store. I am not a big fan of the way the Corona Concepts Furniture kits look like but the Greenleaf ones look nice. Anyone happen know how much this kit retails for just in case I decide to bid on eBay? Here is a link to one of them I found: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...p;rd=1&rd=

I didn't want to overpay on it or get ripped off on ebay. Have you ever put one of the kits together before?
JaimieMarvon
Brandy- I put some of that type furniture together many years ago. Its similar to putting the house together, although much smaller! LOL You can really do alot with it if you get creative. Cushions for the couch and nice linnens fo rthe bed, etc. Good luck.
havanaholly
The house kits I've put together that included some furniture in the kit are the Sugarplum, the Haunted House and the Coventry Cottage. It's a lot of fun to make the tab & slot furniture into something really nice!
nuttiwebgal
I put the 30 peice set together for the Willowcrest and I have a 56 peice set that I have set aside for a house someday. I personally LOVE the older Greenleaf furniture kits and wish they would come back. even just stained they look nice enough for any little girl or new house owner...who may want to collect the better quality stuff at a slow pace but want the house to have furniture! of all the kits I like the older Greenleaf ones the best nutti

This helps - thanks! I also wish this kit would come back. I have a few pieces from a set my grandfather put together for me years ago, I like it better than the Corona or Duracraft furniture kits. The Duracraft kits seem very sturdy, but the Greenleaf furniture has more detail.
Brandy
I might have to buy one of the kits now. Hopefully I can get a good deal on one. I agree, Greenleaf should bring them back. Thanks for all of the responses, it has been very helpful.
Gayle
Would it help if we asked Dean to put the furniture sets back into production?
SusannaT
That's the set I have. I've used it for my daughter's house. Now she's upgrading (good girl...) and the furniture will go to her little sister. I still had some unassembled and am trying to find time to put them together. I've used stain and paint on mine. doogster
For the price that's looks very good, I didn't check out the shipping though. Since it's out of production I'd expect to pay some premium over what it went for originally.

Annette
This is a great kit. I got one a few years ago off of ebay. It went together really nice and painted like a dream. My DD like them so much she picked a few pieces to put in her sweetheart.
