chattycathy66
 Seems like I'm finally getting somewhere on our Beacon Hill! Have finished the staircases, hall floors and all the little trim in places I won't be able to reach once the towerwall is up....Can't wait to start that part! Have lots of pictures on our webpage below, finally!

chattycathy66
thanks, I may live to regret this, but I used fabric as wallpaper in some of the hall. I'm not sure how it will hold up over time, but I was looking for a quick, economical solution--I didn't like the few wallpaper patterns Hobby lobby had, and my printer was not giving me the quality for printable wallpaper, and I couldnt find any scrapbook paper that I liked enough....so I thought this might be an idea. I have heard of people using fabric for flooring, so I thought this might work too. So far so good

havanaholly
People use fabric for wallcovering, I think I read to use Mod Podge to stick it on with.

MiniMadWoman
Looking good Cathy! The staircase looks awesome! :groucho: If you want the fabric to have more of a sheen, you could also go over it with Mod Podge. It might help to seal the fabric too. Keep those pictures coming!!
