KathieB
I dont think they will be getting any slot action at the casinos. I will NOT venture that way this weekend...Too many ppl will be there..The twins might get claustraphobic! Ummm ... good idea. They're so small, they could slip INTO one of the slots! Chels has her home test for art school to work on this vacation. Poor girl is procrastinating cause she has to think of ideas to construct. Nat is in love....HELP ME! but there is a no dating until you get into high school rule. I have to go drive to my neighbors today (the one that moved) and exchange gifts. Promised Nat we will watch "Devil wears Prada" today. I wonder if it is any good?
heidiiiii
2 shopping days left...hurry hurry! I am all done.. seriously I am. I bought all the food for the week and for Christmas day. I grabbed a deal at the local specialty market. 3/4 lb of unsalted macedamian nuts for $3.99! Going to make brittle and maybe some cookies with it. I took Nat grocery shopping with me yesterday and they had Little Miss Sunshine for sale for only $14.99 so I bought it. So I dont have to wrap it, cause she saw. They watched it last night. Kalygirl
The forum is........addictive Robin! I spent some time getting stocking stuffers and last minute gifts earlier today and I plan to spend the rest of today and tomorrow frantically cross-stitching away on FIL's gift. I think Eric wants me to go grocery shopping with him when he gets back...we're doing Christmas with his family here for the first time and he wants to make sure that Christmas dinner is perfect. On the bright side, I'm actually not stressed, just taking it all in stride! *calming BEARHUGS to anyone that needs 'em*

Couldn't get near the mall last week. Yesterday, went to the mall, had my cart absolutely brimming when the electricity when kaplump....I feel like the shopping gods are rising up against me Ah, well, I see gifts for me under the tree -- the guys will have to make do with what I got before the lights went out
KathieB
Finished the wrapping today and baked several dozen gingerbread men. Need to decorate them tomorrow and wrap them up to hand out Christmas eve. Beyond that, I'm done. Or maybe done for. Am still sneezing like all get out, but not into the gingerbread. I got a dust mask from the workshop and wore it while I cooked. :thumb:

heidiiiii
1 shopping day left..... Christmas Eve! Are we all done? Both girls have the bug now. Lucky us huh? They still want to make gingerbread men. The dough is chilled in the fridge. I have some masks in the work room too maybe I will make them wear them. I hope everyone gets what they dreamed of, that everyone is happy with what they receive. I hope everyone has a happy, safe, and joyous Christmas!
