Anya
Well I have just bought a mini village on ebay  and it should arrive in 10 days. I am so looking forward to making this village, Iwas thinking of having the scenes changable so I could have spring, summer, autumn and winter. But the only thing I am thinking I'll have trouble with is the roof in winter. How would I take the snow off the roofs one it is on? BTW how long do these villages take to make? Do you have to paint before assembly or can you paint them after assembly? I am assuming that you can't open these houses to see the inside so they shouldn't take too long to build. Use a lightweight quilt batting cut to size, but don't glue it down. Then you can remove it in time for the spring thaw.

Yes you can leave the village to where you can remove the top.....I'm not gluing my roofs on.....I'm leaving them so I can change the lights in if they blow.....I'm wiring mine.....the only thing that is holding me up is mine keep falling apart.....but that problem is taken care of now....so I'm hoping by Dec. 10th I have mine finished.....I have alot of things going on these next 2 weeks....so we will have to wait and see.... Or make cardstock templates of each house's roof parts and assemble a removable roof for each house for each season.
