Tuppynme
While building my Orchid I have wondered if anyone has/ or is it possible to add another room to the lower floor using the Primrose. I think it wouldmean switching the side walls. This could then become the kitchen/bath and maybe laundry. Would like to hear what others have done or think. gail
Selkie
We did and left the dbl walls so electric could slide in-between. Then it accommodated a Houseworks door with no adaptations. We just slid the roof of the Primrose over so it met up tight against the Orchid wall and were good to go.
Dalesq
There's this thread from 2011 with lots of thoughts advise too. http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=29195&hl=%2Bprimrose+%2Baddition#entry479407
fov
I added a Houseworks conservatory to the side of my Orchid. I left off the bay window and added French doors there instead. (Well, that was the plan, I never really finished it.) Here's how it looked. Emily, yours is nice too and yes i had also considered that too, plenty of time to decide I have a lot of furnishing to do first, lol
GirlPiper
I bashed a single room on the side of my Ochid--used 1/4" birch plywood.
fov
Thanks everyone. This was the first house I built and I gave it away recently to make more space in my mini room. But I kept the kitchen addition.
