ugly green felt rug. how do i remove it?

i have a dollhouse that i am in love with. my husband got it for me for christmas last year. it was shipped via greyhound bus from kansas to new york! that's how much i love it!) i love everything about this house except for the fact that the previous owner put down ugly green felt for a rug on the second floor bedroom. how do i remove it?. it is glued down. thanks

I would rip up as much of it as possible. Then spray the rest, gently dampen it with water, and scrape it off carefully with a small wood scraper (scrapes backwards) and window scraper (helps to lift and cut the old glue underneat) Be careful to keep your scrapers flat, you do not want to dig into the floor. It will take awhile, but it does work.

I had nasty wood flooring glued in the house I'm working on now. I was able to scrape it all off and then sand the last bits of old glue off. By the time I finished (it was the whole floor not just one room) my hand was bruised and hurt for days but the floors look great now :)

I am not sure what they used on this floor, but I have tried everything... and gave up so many times I cant count. I keep putting it off until I can come up with something.I believe it was put down with liquid nails.!
