I am having a great time working on it.I am trying to do it as cheap as possible, so I am using thin foam sheets to make doors and woodwork,faux finish floors,and scrapbook paper for wallpaper.I have tried to attach a picture, hope it works. miss_maya Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 It looks beautiful! I'm trying to do my own dollhouse as inexpensively as I can, so I'm doing as much fuax-finish stuff as I can. We have an amazing Dollarama where I live, so I bought a bag of swizel sticks, like coffee stirers, to use for hardwoods. Look s a bit wonky, but exactly what I wanted for the theme. I also did faux paint jobs to age the walls and such. I was considering scarpbook paper for the walls upstars as well, so I'm happy to see how nice it looks on your house!
