developing stair railing

I think I will make the balsa wood carved area double thickness [ means starting over] because if I do that, then carve, sand and stain, it will look more 3 dimensional and thus more realistic. I cant wait to try it again especially going down the flights of stairs. and starting over will allow me to perfect the actual carved designs.

Dang! <_< Hate when I have to start over! HOWEVER....sometimes the extra time and effort are worth it; and I think taking the time to perfect such an awesome railing is definitely NOT time wasted!! :thumb:
