The steps were a remodel so I used brown paint on the original white paint, then just on a whim picked up my gel stain and ran it over the brown paint. Hope it works .... Decisions at 1 am .....

I do not have steady hands! And I started with no plans, just a vague picture in my head .... It's a pure lucky thing that it's worked out
