Sable
Congratulations on having a well lit house. You did it! And your diy lights are perfect for the house's theme. The antlers are my favorite.
havanaholly
Oh, this one is my favorite room, both for the chandelier and for the door:
KathieB
Oh, do lay in a stock of screw-in bulbs and continue to design your own fixtures. The lights in this house are beautifully done.
cloudbound
We learn as we go and I wish I could start the lights all over, making them ALL with screw-ins. I knew when I was using ones that weren't replaceable that one day the bulbs were going to start burning out and I'd have to remove the entire fixture to replace a bulb. But I HAD the other kind of bulbs on hand and I just got too anxious to move it along - plus the screw-in bulbs seem sort of pricey. I think you're right Kathie - I'm going to search for some of the right kind of bulbs right now and maybe I'll re-make some of these fixtures. They were fun to make so it'll be good practice. Any thoughts on where the best 'deal' is for the bulbs with screw-in bases?
