Dollhouses for Kids Battling Cancer

I stumbled on a facebook site today about a lady who puts together dollhouses and donates them to kids who are battling cancer. Planning on going through my kits and donating. If you have kits that are stacking up and want to think about giving to a really neat cause, check out her fb page for more information. Happy Holidays!

Yes! Her name is Ann and she is from New york. I was blown away by her talent and generous caring heart. See more on her fb page. I hope people see and are moved to help her in her quest to bring a little joy to sick kids. God bless her.

Oh my goodness, I just stumbled upon this thread. Thank you all so much for saying such nice things. I have had so much help from people who donate things they no longer use or need or donate houses so I cannot take all the credit but thank you for being so supportive of my project!

Ann, dearest, we say them because they're true! And I'm amazed you found time to check in; you must have everything waiting for glue paint to dry.

We love you, Ann. Your ministry really hits a nerve with me because we lost a daughter to leukemia, treated at St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis. A school class made a beautiful dollhouse and donated it to the hospital, but it was only the one, and it had to stay protected by plexiglass and as far as I know it was never available for more than observation. And my daughter spent a lot of time looking at it! But to give a house to a child to keep - that is awesome!
