Hallowell
You all need to watch this video to the end. It's a real heart tugger.
Jo Med
Wow thats amazing, thanks for sharing. It reminds me of the lion cub who was bought from Harrods in the 60s by 2 young guys. They kept him for a couple of years as a pet and then released him back in Africa. They returned to see him some years later and their reunion was wonderful to see. http://hubpages.com/hub/Christian-The-Lion-CubCirca-1969
Hallowell
You just know that animals and man can live lovingly together, they have emotions and feelings just as we do and it cannot be denied once you've seen these amazing and wonderful videos.

Nileke
Fortunately I had my tissues at hand when I watched the video. I was so touched. I too believe it's possible to coexist lovingly. Coexist as the key word, not all animals are meant to be pets.
what2craftnow
What a wonderful story! I needed a few Kleenex for that one...thanks for sharing it Greg! Gorillas are such amazing creatures. It is a shame that they are so misunderstood, and an even bigger shame that they are poached, maimed and killed for the lunatics that see them as trophy, or conversation pieces
havanaholly
Then there's the chimpanzee who tore off his mistress' employee's face and ate it & part of her hands. Definitely reinforces my thoughts about letting wild animals stay wild and let them live their own lives.
what2craftnow
I agree Holly - far too many people think having an exotic "pet" is cool, and then are horrified when it goes terribly wrong. Not the animals fault - wild animals should be left in the wild to do what they do naturally.
