Bathing.....

so this isn't "period" but I like the way it turned out.. and it's close enough I guess....

This is a purchased barrel that I added "water" and "soap suds" too... then added the towels and used a Chrysnbon hair brush as a body scrubber.... (it's probably more "old west" than "Tudor" but I like it)

Love it! I saw something like this (it was a shower) on Dwellingawker and wanted to try making one. I like your tub better. :)

thanks ladies... it really is a bit too "modern" for my Nottingham.. but it is staying there anyway :) I like the way it turned out :)

the suds were made with "Water Effects" I bought from Scenic Express... once they dried I dabbed some white paint on them :)

Love it,I have been searching for a barrel like that for months to use in my bath house/laundry shed for the Bronte House, where did you find it?
