Ahhh, thanks guys! Yeah, after opening her presents from Santa this morning at her parent's house -- according to her parents she kept asking where was her dollhouse. Told 'em we'd deliver it and all the little goodies like the family, furniture, and accessories today(they couldn't fit it all in their car last night with two little girls and their carseats.) Also, did some last minute touchups like that piece of molding and Alyssa had asked for there to be shelves added under the kitchen stairs to put her pots and pans on -- so did those last minute, didn't get a pic As is though, was a load of fun and quite honestly would do it again for the reaction! In 3 more years I'll have my niece Adrianna to consider doing one for, though my brother in law was quite interested in how this house came to be... so may be doing one with more input than what this one was. :lol:

Yellow is the color of her favorite blankie -- another Aunt Kelli gift when she was still an infant. She loves staying at the grandparent's houses, but demands still that her yellow blankie has to be with her -- thus my color inspiration for the outside of the house. ^_^ Really tried to make sure every aspect of this reflected her likes... Seemed to go over well, even though I'm quite positive I could've kept working on it and not been completely happy ever. Suppose it goes back to the simple matter we are our own worst critics. lol

Nice veeeve, can't wait to see your photos of your progress. Have to admit this was my first house, and when I first saw all the pieces I had to wonder what I was getting myself into with it... Little did I know this innocent gift would lead to a serious addiction of dollhouse building and now rehabbing! lol
