Yes or no to the widows walk

NellBell

Trying to get a little closer to finishing this house . I think I have finally figured out what I just didn't like about this build . It's the window above the bay windows it doesn't match. So I will be timing it out to match and making it slightly bigger on the trim to match the look of the three windows below.

What do you think of the widows walk on the bay pop put Yes or No?

I like it, too. It’s pretty and I always think any upper-floor porches or balconies (even the unused ones) are romantic.

I say yes.  Would you paint it white/black? Or leave it natural?

That's the next ? natural is out I am torn between white and the blackish . I think I'll paint the little piece lift to make that decision one side white and the other the black. I

thanks I agree it's in . First I have to fix window then it goes in and I'll have to decide on the color white or black .

Wow, this looks great! You can hardly tell it's a Westville anymore! (I love the Westville the way it is, but I love what you've done to this, too.)

I like the widow's walk and my instinct says white, but it's one of those things where you won't know until you see it.

It looks great I'd probably say the blackish colour if it was a thinner wrought iron style but this style I think probably white. Good idea to trim out the upper window. You'll be much happier. It's funny how little things like trim differences can really throw you off. :)

I can see why you don't like the window, just doesn't fit in, the widows walk is great.  I can see advantages to both colors, I think I would have to see it first but leaning on the white right now.

Looks great, I think maybe black, since the only trim that is white is the windows, all other is black.  But who knows, can't wait to see what you choose

Color is a tough question, I think I would paint it the same color as the house, again if it was thinner like wrought iron then black. It would also look good with the same color as your window trim if you want it to stand out a bit more.
