Sandrrruh
I’m working on my second house, and my first with lighting. It’s the half scale Vermont farmhouse from RGT, and I’m kind of at a loss for lighting. Any suggestions for a beginner on what I should pickup? Everything I’ve found seems to be geared for 1:12 scale.
shannonc60
Earth n Tree still has a good selection of half scale lighting but it's getting harder and harder to find. I used to get mine from the UK but those shops are gone or not stocking them either. I have a lighting tutorial on my website blog you might find helpful using the little string LED lights. Make shades with beads or small lids.
havanaholly
There are some nice 1:24 lampshade printies on the Small Stuff Digest's printmini site: https://www.printmini.com/printables/lamps/lamphq.html https://www.printmini.com/printables/lamps/lampptn.html https://www.printmini.com/printables/lamps/shades.html https://www.printmini.com/printables/lamps/shadesptn.html
madtex1967
Also check eBay. I have found several lights that are no longer being made on there. Houseworks used to make several 1/2 scale fixtures. There are other suppliers that do make fixtures, but some do come with stickershock. These stores I have ordered from with good customer service.
