grazhina
Have I ever mentioned how annoyed I get when I try to take a look at my own pictures in Webshots and I sit and sit and they won’t come up? Webshots tells me that I average 1,000 views a week. If their experience is anything like mine when I go to look at someone’s Webshots albums, well, they sure must want to see those pictures. I’ve started putting my historic reference albums on a new site, Picassa. I’ve been skimming through my picture CD’s and setting up albums. So far I’ve got Victorian through 1950’s pretty much in place. Here’s the address: http://picasaweb.google.com/grazhe Each album also has a note of my links page, so if you’re looking for something in particular I may have a link to a site with more pictures of the 1940’s house or whatever. With me you never know what I may dig up. You’ll have to paste the link though. I still have a lot of pictures to go. It would be great if you could let me know if you think Picassa is an improvement. I’m really just doing this as a sort of public service and it does take a lot of time. I did something to my back and have to try and stay off my feet for a while, that’s why I started doing this now. A simple comment in my home page e mail like OK would do. I’d appreciate it. Charlene
Wow -- what a collection! It does appear much easier to browse than Webshots. It's a very impressive collection -- especially loved the bed/bathtub in the bathroom collection -- what a hoot!!! Thanks so much for sharing this link and for posting all of these photos. Incredible resource
