Getting Stain Off The Garage Floor

Does anyone know if it is possible to get stain off a garage floor? I was staining my stairs last night, and had a little oops with a glop that fell off the cloth. I was hoping to prevent a solution to the problem before my dh noticed it. Either that, or I hope he is in a really good mood when he sees our walnut garage floor, lol.

Paint lays on top of a surface. Stain works by getting into a surface. The only thing that might possibly work that I can think of offhand would be bleach. Try mixing bleach with a little water and use an old toothbrush to work it into a small area. If it seems to be working ok, you could try using the bleach straight. Rinse well whatever you do.

I don't know if the bleach might leave a markedly lighter spot or not. You should try it out carefully.

If they can powerwash motor oil off of garage floors (i cant remember what they used) you should be able to get rid of stain.

If all else fails go to your local hardware store (not super megalowmart!) and ask. When i have a real perplexing problem, I go to a real hardware store. Those guys (and gals) almost ALWAYS know the right answer!
