mlvenan
I'm going to start my Princess Anne, but I'm overwhelmed just looking at the sheet of parts in the instructions! Can anyone tell me how I should read this? I want to identify and label the part,s but i'm not sure which numbers are which. So, when it lists: '1/4' '23 7/8' '1 3/8', I'm curious as to what dimensions those are referring too. Thanks in advance! -Michelle
havanaholly
I don't know about RGT, but Dura-Craft had some pages in their instruction booklet with a full-sized diagram of the end of the part in question to match to.
mlvenan
I feel so silly. Once I actually started pulling parts out and measuring it was easy! I'm missing two dowel for the balcony, but I just placed an order for replacement parts.
havanaholly
Don't feel silly, it isn't one of those glaringly obvious things, if you haven't worked with different brands.
Audra
When I did my Princess Ann, I saved the picture on the box to refer back to. With any house that I have built, I put away the pieces I don't need yet, or I get really overwhelmed Any pictures yet?
mlvenan
Thanks. I'm keeping the box and I keep checking it! i've posted three very unexciting pictures in my gallery.

Merry
I felt the same way with my RGT woodstock. Luckily I was told to keep everything organized and marked. As for the instructions, at first they would be difficult to understand, but then after I followed them, the instructions seemed so easy! Wolfie
Different makers have different ways of doing their instructions....... I usually read, read and read again all of the instructions before I even take out the parts.....I'm abolustly obsessed with keeping the parts together! LOL
Merry
When I put my first house together, I wish I had known to make templates, and to do some of the finishing as I went. However, I wouldn't have the wonderful challenge that waits before me now!
