Canterbury House 5 Issues Pre

Lion.Mother

Some issues to address:

1. No top moulding for the tower; easy enough to fix with a now extensive 1:12 scale lumber yard at my disposal.

2. The tower is not affixed. I think I actually like this, but I'll need to better finish underneath it.

3. Chip off the roof ridge. I think I may go with a ridge cap, anyhow, to cover some crooked shingle installation.

4. Hot glue drips. While the house was put together with white glue (and staples, more on that later), the shingling was done with hot glue. There's quite a bit to melt off/clean up, including on the surface of some of the shingles. Anyone have any pointers on how to clean this up?

If you don't go with a roof ridge, you could fill in the chip with spackle maybe? For the hot glue, try gently rubbing the shingles with a dry washcloth to break off the little hairlike pieces. Be gentle though so you don't pull off the actual shingles! Lol.
