catrin 40 Posted September 4, 2012 Aging Techniques: I added the board & batten details, then painted everything with a watered down grey paint/black ink mixture. Next brush on contact cement and while it's still wet paint over it. You should be able to lift some of the paint off with scotch tape. This is where I went wrong; I did too large an area & waited until it had dried. So I had to wire brush most of the paint off which actually added to the aging. Finally I used some of the paint/ink mixture that I further watered down to add more dirty details. Quote Link to comment
