These are the strangest stairs ever

Can';t wait to see this one. It's been done so many ways.

I personally hate the wood quality on stairs like these...and all that sanding! ugh. Yes- I've seen these stairs done SO many different ways...can't wait to see your version!

the wood in this kit is a bit sketchy, it's an old old kit, but nothing a little sanding didn't take care of. Not sure if the railing will go on or not, it seems a little "solid" for the stairs themselves

Looks like you are off t a great start! Ihave seen kits say you can do it in 12 hours but of course that is just putting it together,nothing else. I am not real fast on my Garfield. I can't work on it again now until after the 18th probably.

Yup, there are times that the GL's woods just don't suit the style's exposure. It is a wierd setup for sure..but the house is so cool.
