where to put the lights

dooder85

Well I guess I know where one of the lights will go - that's about as far as I've gotten. I'm also torn on whether I want to put dark wood paneling on the downstairs walls or if wallpaper and stucco is the way to go.

You might want to wire the fireplace. It's one of the nicest features in this house. Although, one of our members came up with a battery powered fire that was pretty awesome, so that is an option. There's a how-to for it around here somewhere.

I would love a flickering fireplace, I have to find the insert online somewhere as the hobby shop here just went out of dollhouses all together. I think I want my electrical panel to go in the fireplace and make the top removable for access, then drill a hole in the base for the wiring to come out the bottom to a transformer. It's so hard to think so far in advance with the wiring!

It is a very interesting house to wire... I had quite a time figuring out what to do. I use tape wire, so I just added extra in case I change my mind later. I did not do a flicker light for the fire though. I wish I had, but I was too cheap to do a second transformer, maybe I will add one later.... I am letting my Glencroft mellow for a few weeks while I debate what to do with the roof
