Hmmm... Do you still have the sheet where the window casings were in, and if so perhaps you could trace the shapes and make doubles so to speak in perhaps posterboard or something like that and paint and then layer on top of the existing one?

I'm in agreement - double up the frames. You can order more from Greenleaf or cut them yourself.

Yes. Just double it up and no one will ever know.

I do still have the sheets, i was using them to hold up furniture I was painting! I hadn't thought of tracing!
