This is a clearanced item I found, that could be used as something to let light in over the grand staircase on the roof.

My husband thought a dome light fixture cover would be great for that purpose also.

But for this I am thinking more about taking off the frame and painting it white for another interesting ceiling effect.

Ahhhh, love it!! This would be great as an architectural detail on the ceiling... could see it very easily with a chandelier hung from the middle as well. ;) Can't wait to see how you work it in!
